Sometimes the best parts are the parts we throw out.

Cleaning out my fridge again... I/we cook a lot and there are always odds and ends and things that we keep permanently stocked in fridge. Among the findings today were chard stocks, poached eggs, beans sprouts (my 3 yr olds eat them like chips) and frozen peas. Mix them together with soba noodles, sauce, lime juice and drizzling of sesame seed oil and ta da, lunch in 8 minutes!

For the babies I left off the poached egg, that is a bit too radical them.
